Caffeine is a methylxanthine that like theophylline inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase and has an antagonistic effect at central adenosine receptors. It is a stimulant of the CNS particularly the higher centers and it can produce a condition of wakefulness and increased mental activity. It may also stimulate the respiratory center increasing the rate and depth of respiration.
• Taurine is often referred to as an amino acid. Amino acids are the building block of proteins. But taurine is actually an amino sulfonic acid. It is not used to build protein but has many other important functions in the body. Taurine is found in large amounts in the brain, retina, heart, and blood cells called platelets.
Combining caffeine with taurine improves mental performance.

This vitamin can help synthesize nucleoproteins and myelin, cell regeneration, normal body growth, and normal red blood cells (improve oxygen delivery). Vitamin B12 can be effective in synthesizing carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
